Limburg and Noord-Brabant grow nearly all Dutch asparagus, and Brabantse Wal asperges are the only Dutch asparagus with an EU protected name (PDO, 2016). The classic plate: asparagus with ham, egg, new potatoes and melted butter or hollandaise.
